Thanks to all for your 2011 tax-deductable gifts!
We’ll be posting updates on our new Sustainable Farmstead project
here and on our Facebook site — let’s keep in touch!

Students celebrate the 1st World Bamboo Day,
as part of Balili River restoration efforts, in Benguet City, Philippines
~~~
Pacific Bamboo Resources (PBR) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization that brings together an international community of citizens, students and professionals, and leaders in government, business and academics to pursue new ideas for resilient food and resource systems, and related sustainable community and economic development.
In complement to talk of social change and sustainability ideas, we actively pursue on-the-ground projects, regionally and internationally, to connect and “road test” theory-to-practice in meaningful ways.
We appreciate tax-deductable donations to support our projects. Our short “wish list” is growing — can you offer any of the following?
office space in Seattle;
additional computer hardware and software (to complement our iMac & printer);
audio and video technology (to support program outreach)
website design and maintenance (have web skills — join us!);
farm, garden and home repair tools (will be used on the farm);
books, magazines and subscription gifts for our growing Sustainability Library;
funds to support our international Sustainability Internships (2012 inquiries are coming in from many states, countries and cultures — very exciting);
help with grant and fund-raising efforts;
funds to cover general expenses (much appreciated — as you might guess) ;
Contributing to our “wish list” is great way to support our work and join in on the creative fun. Thank you!!
Feel free to contact us with any questions or ideas. info@pacificbamboo.com
